This Privacy Policy explains how Johnny Gardner Law, P.A. (“the firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information you provide through grandstrandduilawyer.com (the “site”).
Information we collect
We collect only information you choose to give us. That may include:
- Your name, telephone number, and email address, when you provide them in the chat window on this site or when you contact our office.
- Any information you choose to include in a message to us.
- Basic technical information collected automatically by our hosting and analytics providers, such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you view on this site.
How we use your information
- To respond to your question or request.
- To schedule and confirm consultations and appointments.
- To communicate with you about a matter you have asked us about, including by telephone, email, and text message if you have consented to text messages.
- To send marketing communications, but only where you have separately consented to receive them.

Text messaging and your mobile information
If you consent to receive text messages from us, we use your mobile number only to send the categories of messages described in our Terms of Service and on the text messaging section of our home page.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell your mobile information or any other personal information, and we do not share it with lead generators. You may withdraw your consent to text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, or by calling our office at (843) 248-7135.
How we share information
We share personal information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers. With vendors who help us operate the firm and this site — for example our website host, our customer relationship management and messaging platform, and our telephone provider. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us.
- Legal requirements. Where we are required to do so by law, court order, or applicable rules of professional conduct.
- With your direction. Where you ask us to share it.
We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Confidentiality and the attorney-client relationship
Information you send through this site, the chat window, or by text message is not protected by the attorney-client privilege unless and until an attorney-client relationship has been established by a written agreement signed by both you and the firm. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information before that relationship exists.
Data retention and security
We keep the information you provide for as long as needed to respond to you, to serve you if you become a client, and to meet our legal and professional record-keeping obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect that information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
